Gajdos Szilvia
Head Nurse

In 2013, I obtained my degree in healthcare management from the University of Debrecen, Nyíregyháza Health College. Since 2014, I have worked in leadership assistant and head nurse roles. In these positions, I was able to integrate my broad knowledge base into professional coordinating, liaison, and nursing tasks, which align with my natural disposition. My career, encompassing work with patients and maintaining relationships with colleagues, has shaped my entire adult life, always emphasizing teamwork.
Recently, I joined the Dunamenti REK Reproductive Center, Dévai Institute, as head nurse. With great enthusiasm and dedication, I have immersed myself in my new responsibilities, focusing on assistance, patient care, coordination, and fulfilling other operational tasks.
Through my sister, who is a midwife and sonographer, I have gained some insight into obstetrics and gynecology, and I have accompanied her to numerous professional forums and discussions.
In my work, I strive to be a specialist who can confidently carry out multiple tasks in a given field within the scope of available resources. For this reason, I continuously develop my skills. I have completed four specializations and have aimed to be versatile and capable in all areas of my workplace.
My most recent position was as head nurse at the B Braun Dialysis Center. I have previously worked in this specialty, at the dialysis center which was initially known as Rolitron and later EuroCare. I spent the majority of my healthcare career—22 years—working in this field.
From 2014, I took a detour into the intricacies of plasmapheresis, but after four years, I returned to dialysis.
I began my nursing career in 1991 at the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Institute, in the bone marrow transplantation department. I have never considered deviating from this career path. Alongside my profession, I strive to live a fuller life and to continue growing personally.
